Membership / Fees
There are special rates available for Families and Associate members, details available from the Membership Secretary or from the Members Area of the web site.
The annual subscription includes membership of the G.N.A.S. including Insurance, Y.A.A. and N.C.A.S.
An application form for membership can be downloaded here; the return address is on the form.
Member's subscriptions are due on the 1st of June and payable by the end of June.
This is being brought to the attention of all members because it is important that these fees are received by the Membership Secretary on time as forms and fees have to be submitted to the Yorkshire Archery Association who register members and then pass the information / fees to the Northern Counties Archery Association and to the G.N.A.S. This is a time consuming process and any member who does not pay their subscription runs the risk of not having their membership of the G.N.A.S. renewed.
If you are not a member of the G.N.A.S. you are not covered by the G.N.A.S. Liability insurance and are therefore ineligible to shoot at any of the club's shooting grounds unless under instruction on a beginners course.
If you are not a member of the club you will be unable to shoot at any of the club's shooting grounds other than by invitation of a club member and production of a current G.N.A.S. Membership Card.
The Membership Secretary can only do so much to chase up any late payments of membership subscriptions. It is up to each individual member to take responsibility for their membership and pay their subscription on time.
Full Members qualified with a handicap are entitled to use the outdoor facilities at any time. Keys for the club huts are available on request from the Chairman; a deposit of £5.00 per key is required.
Outdoor shooting is free to members.
Indoor Shooting at Oakbank Sports College and South Craven School costs £2.00 per session for adults and £1 for juniors. This fee pays for the hire of the hall.
