If you are interested in joining our club you can be sure of a warm welcome.

However, before we can accept you as a member, we have to insist on some basic minimum standards. This is for the safety of all club members and to make sure our insurance is validated. If you are new to archery, you need to attend a beginners course and receive a certificate of competency, once you have this you’re welcome to join.

If you are an established archer and want to change clubs, we would ask that you demonstrate you are a safe and competent archer by way of a beginners certificate and a demonstration of your ability. We are similarly happy to accept associate members, for archers who are already a member of another club and pay their Archery GB fees through that club.

Please read and agree by selecting Yes i agree. As a member of the club, I agree to take part in work parties to maintain the shooting grounds and buildings and to provide support at events such as “Have-a-go” days and beginner’s courses. By joining Aire Valley Archers (AVA) you agree to be bound by the rules of Archery GB (AGB), Yorkshire Archers Association (YAA), Northern Counties Archery Society (NCAS) and the rules and constitution of AVA. Payments are by bank transfer (BACS). Bank details will be on your invoice which will be sent by e-mail. How we use your Data – The personal details you provide will be used by AVA to carry out club administration and to keep you up to date with events within the club. These details are stored in a secure computer-based accessible only by selected club committee members How others will use your Data. When you become a member of AVA you will automatically be registered as a member of ArcheryGB, Yorkshire Archery Association and Northern Counties archery Society. We will provide AGB with your personal data which they will use to enable access to an online portal for you (https://agb.sport80.com) which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings and set how you would like to hear from ArcheryGB about the latest news including the quarterly magazine, ways in which you can support them and membership benefits available. If you have any questions about the continuing privacy of your personal data when it is share with ArcheryGB, please contact gdpr@archerygb.org.
